Designed to honor President Jefferson Davis in the millennium at Charleston, South Carolina.

A gold plated bust of Jefferson Davis with crossed sabers and Maltese cross of cloisonné with the flags of the Confederacy attached to a battle flag ribbon.

The lettering is gold, on white cloisonné.  Arms of the cross and the area around the flags are also white cloisonné.  Cotton bale and cotton buds appear on the face below the portrait of Davis.

The numbered medals were offered in a limited edition, beginning in year 2000.  Only 140 numbered medals were struck and present quantities are very limited.
